Properties of zirconia materials: ZrO2 offers excellent heat resistance, insulation, and corrosion resistance. Zirconia ceramic has a density of 5.95 to 6.05 g/cm. Among the four spherical ceramic materialsSi3N4, SiC, Al2O3, and ZrO2zirconia has the highest strength, above 8 MPam1/2, and a thermal expansion coefficient of 10.5 10^-6/C, which is close to that of metal. It is therefore well suited for use with metal, although its dimensional stability changes significantly with temperature. Fatigue contact failure occurs through destructive fragmentation, which is a failure mode affecting silicon nitride under certain critical conditions. Zirconia ceramic has self-lubricating properties, helping reduce contamination and the inconvenience of adding lubricants. It offers good corrosion resistance and can be used in moderately acidic and alkaline media, seawater, and other environments. Zirconia ceramic maintains nearly unchanged strength and hardness at 600C. It is almost non-insulating and non-conductive. Applicable fields: 1. Semiconductor, LCD manufacturing, electroplating, and synthetic fiber production equipment; 2. Optical film equipment, various heat-treatment furnaces, vacuum equipment, and more; 3.
