xiwai SFF-8612 OCuLink to NVMe SFF-8639 U.2/U.3 PCIe SSD Adapter Card with SATA 5 V + 12 V Power Cable

Description

• Connectors: 1x OCuLink SFF-8612 socket, 1x SFF-8639 U.2/U.3 socket, and 1x SATA power connector
• Adds an SFF-8612 OCuLink interface to SFF-8639 U.2/U.3; an SSD can be connected using an optional cable
• Supports PCI Express 4.0/5.0 signals with the NVMe protocol and data transfer rates of up to 64 Gbit/s
• Supports NVM Express (NVMe) 1.2
• The vertical connector allows connection where space around the port is limited
• Transparent to the operating system; no software drivers required
• U.3 drives remain backward-compatible with U.2; the U.3 drive determines the host type and configures the data lanes at power-on
• U.3 drives can still function as dual-port NVMe drives in supported systems

SFF-8612 OCuLink to NVMe SFF-8639 U.2/U.3 PCIe SSD adapter card with SATA 5 V + 12 V power for a motherboard. It provides an SFF-8612 OCuLink interface for an SFF-8639 U.2/U.3 connection and supports PCI Express 4.0/5.0 signals using the NVMe protocol, with data transfer rates of up to 64 Gbit/s and support for NVM Express (NVMe) 1.2. The vertical connector is suitable for ports with limited surrounding space. The adapter only converts the interface and does not change speed or other characteristics. It is transparent to the operating system and requires no software drivers. U.3 drives remain backward-compatible with U.2, determine the host type through different HPT0 and HTP1 open or grounded combinations, and configure the data lanes during power-on. In supported systems, U.3 drives can still function as dual-port NVMe drives.
