NR/SBR industrial-quality rubber strips, supplied in 50 mm (5 cm) widths. Select the required thickness and length. Both the surface and underside are smooth. This product is suitable for technical applications without high requirements for temperature resistance, aging resistance, or durability. Approximate packaged weight: 1.5 kg for 1 m length and 1 mm thickness. Applications include protection and insulation, sealing purposes, seals and sealing sets, and use as a rubber base or safety mat. Hardness: approximately 65 10 Shore A. Specific gravity: 1.50 g/cm. Temperature range: -20C to +70C. Elongation: 200%. Tensile strength: 3.5 MPa. Tolerances comply with DIN 7715 Part 5, Class P3. The mat can be cut with a utility knife and bonded to nearly any material using a suitable adhesive. Rubber has the typical rubber odor, which may be familiar from automobile tires; this odor will dissipate over time. If used indoors, allowing the material to air out beforehand may be helpful. The material can be bonded with an adhesive suitable for rubber. Custom sizing helps minimize waste and reduces processing effort.
