• For an AMO 60 in bow, use a 57 in Flemish Twist string at actual length.
• If the string is too long, shorten it by twisting it to achieve the correct brace height.
• Three-part construction: string loop, under-loop serving, and center serving.
• For recurve bows, the larger loop goes on the upper limb and the smaller loop on the lower limb.
• Suitable for recurve and traditional bows, especially American hunting bows.

Name: Flemish Twist bowstring. Strands: 16. Weight: 7 g. Colors: Type 1 black and red; Type 2 black and yellow; Type 3 black and blue; Type 4 black and green; Type 5 black and white; Type 6 black and orange; Type 7 black and brown. The listed size is the actual length. If you have an AMO size, subtract 3 inches from the bow length to determine the actual string length. For example, a 60-inch bow requires a 57-inch bowstring. You can also measure your old bowstring before purchasing. If the string is too long, shorten it by twisting it to achieve the correct brace height. Contact the seller for other sizes and colors. The hand-braided bowstring is described as being made from Dacron and compatible with recurve and longbows. It absorbs bow vibration and supports faster shooting. Medium-strength center serving helps secure the nock. Use string wax for good durability and protection. The ends of each loop are braided for added durability, and the string can be installed on the bow quickly and easily. The bowstring is pre-stretched at 70 lb before shipping, so it should have very little stretch when received and can be used immediately.
