Our main goal is to help prevent 60 million single-use water bottles from ending up in landfills every day. How are the adorable Ecokins plush toys made from water bottles? First, the water bottles are shredded, cleaned, sanitized, and melted. The fibers are then spun into an ultra-soft fabric yarn. The fabric, fiber filling, and threads are made from this recycled material. It is remarkable how soft and cuddly this plush toy feels, considering that it is made from water bottles. The embroidered eyes and nose made from recycled threads also make it a safe plush toy for babies. We also use recycled-paper hangtags printed with soy-based ink and cotton strings instead of plastic. Wild Republic goes one step further by using biodegradable shipping bags. The Ecokins 12-inch Goat is made from 16 recycled water bottles. Ecokins is currently the only plush toy made from 100% recycled material.
