What does the RAL quality mark mean for consumers? 1. Candles bearing the quality mark produce exceptionally little soot and smoke. 2. High-quality wicks are used. 3. Candles bearing the quality mark do not drip when used correctly. 4. The shapes, colors, and dimensions of the candles are consistent and reliable. 5. Manufacturers have committed to using no raw materials, colors, or lacquers contaminated with harmful substances. 6. The quality mark applies to all candles, grave candles, and tealights. The quality mark for candles is awarded by Gtegemeinschaft Kerzen e.V. It currently includes 34 manufacturers, primarily from Germany but also from other European countries. Together, they account for more than 80% of Germany's total annual production of approximately 100,000 metric tons. * Wiedemann aims for zero CO2 emissions and consistently works toward climate neutrality within its company. Wiedemann supports climate protection projects around the world in a joint effort to protect the environment and promote sustainability. Although burning green candle* candles still produces unavoidable CO2 emissions, these are offset through the compensations made, making them CO2-neutral overall. Therefore, the candles produced by Wiedemann represent the responsible use of resources and thus the future of our children. Help make a positive contribution to environmental and climate protection and look for the Wiedemann green candle* when buying candles.
