It can help protect work surfaces and fingers from burns and is suitable for DIY projects, plumbing, sealing, insulation, and material protection. Applications include automotive brake components, exhaust system seals, spark plug boots, ignition components, piston rings, marine shock absorber parts, hydraulic system seals, shaft seals, television and oscilloscope high-voltage caps, potentiometer seals, insulating sleeves, stator coils, contact gas seals, switch protective covers, computer and keyboard switches, varistors, instrument membrane components, heating-plate instruments, refrigeration equipment seals and hoses, instrument shock absorbers, hydraulic oil pump seals, flame-retardant silicone rubber parts, oxygen supply system seals, and diaphragms.
