UYCUODLUY TVS diodes of the voltage-regulator type, with a voltage rating of 300 V and a power rating of 3 W. PCB through-hole mounting, DIP type, axial leads. When a transient high-voltage pulse is applied in reverse across the two terminals of the TVS diode, it can switch between high- and low-impedance states and absorb current surges of several kilowatts. This limits the voltage across the terminals to a predetermined value and helps protect electronic circuits and precision devices from damage caused by various overvoltage pulses.
