• Tubular frame lock with latch locking and a galvanized steel faceplate, prepared for a profile cylinder.
• Latch can be changed from right-hand to left-hand after installation; suitable for left- or right-hand doors.
• Center distance: 92 mm; follower: 8 x 8 mm; bolt throw: 11 mm; single-turn locking.
• Faceplate dimensions: 245 x 24 x 2.5 mm.
• Backset: 24 mm; rear backset: 15 mm; total insertion depth: 39 mm.

Bever 1004 tubular frame lock. Single-turn lockable with an 11 mm bolt throw and suitable for right- or left-hand use. The latch can be changed after installation by pulling it out and turning it. Prepared for a profile cylinder, which can be installed. The latch and bolt are flush-mounted and made of die-cast zinc. The 24 x 245 mm galvanized faceplate is riveted to the lock and has a thickness of approximately 2.5 mm. The center distance is 92 mm, measured from the center of the square spindle to the center of the profile-cylinder opening. The lock case section recessed into the door is 17 mm thick. An additional rear guide for the faceplate screw ensures a precise fit of the profile cylinder. The rear backset is 15 mm; adding this to the backset gives the lock's total insertion depth. Manufactured in Germany by Bever and Klophaus in Schwelm. The lock was successfully tested for durability exceeding 200,000 latch actuations.
