Titanium flat material with material no. 3.7035 is produced from unalloyed titanium and contains at least 99.2% titanium. Titanium Grade 2 offers high corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and alkaline media. It is resistant to organic acids and compounds and also provides excellent resistance to aqueous salt solutions, hot gases, and seawater. It is highly ductile and tough, has excellent weldability and outstanding biocompatibility, and offers high impact strength and good creep strength. This titanium flat material is non-magnetic. Titanium flat material 3.7035 is widely used in the medical field for manufacturing implants and surgical instruments. It is also used for heat exchangers, as well as in aerospace for various components, cryogenic technology, shipbuilding, and chemical equipment construction.
