The testo 477 LED stroboscope makes extremely fast movements appear in slow motion. This allows you to inspect machinery and systems during operation and measure speeds of up to 300,000 revolutions per minute. For example, the correct thread guidance of a knitting machine cannot be identified with the naked eye, making irregularities in the vibration or rotation processes of machinery and systems difficult to detect. The LED stroboscope makes these irregularities visible by using flashes to create a stationary image. It can also measure the speed of very small and hard-to-reach objects without interrupting the production process, as no reflective markers are required. A measurement range of up to 300,000 flashes per minute (fpm) and light intensity of up to 4,800 lux enable speed measurements of up to 300,000 revolutions per minute. The trigger input and output allow connection to external equipment and control by an external sensor. Integrated impact protection and a robust IP65-rated, washable housing make the stroboscope suitable for demanding working conditions.
