The MCP4725 is a buffered voltage-output DAC with nonvolatile EEPROM memory. The user can configure the register bits and DAC input data stored in the nonvolatile memory. By setting the configuration register bits, the DAC can operate in normal mode or power-saving shutdown mode. The device uses a two-wire I2C-compatible serial interface and operates with a 2.7V to 5.5V single supply. This version of the CJMCU-MCP4725 breakout board addresses several board issues, including the IC footprint and I2C pinout. It also changes the overall board dimensions to better fit different projects and includes other minor adjustments. The board breaks out each pin needed to access and use the MCP4725, including GND and Signal OUT for connecting an oscilloscope or another device. SCL, SDA, VCC, and an additional GND pin are also provided for a basic I2C connection. The pull-up resistors can be disabled when using more than one MCP4725 on the same bus; refer to the hookup guide for instructions and tips. Package includes: 2 MCP4725 I2C DAC breakout modules.
