Our white styrofoam shapes come in various sizes and designs. The processed polystyrene is a foamed plastic that is extremely lightweight and widely used in crafting. You can paint directly on styrofoam with many craft paints, though a special primer may be required. Please refer to the instructions on the respective paints. Decoupage works well, as does the napkin technique. When gluing plastics, ensure the adhesive is suitable for styrofoam. Avoid using hot glue, as styrofoam melts under heat. This is also important for cutting styrofoam; a hot wire is particularly effective for dividing the material.
