Product Description The Stampa Classico coffee grounds presser is machine-made from solid round aluminum stock and then polished. Espresso tampers, also called coffee grounds pressers, are an important component of traditional espresso preparation. Pressing the coffee grounds in the portafilter with the tamper compacts them, allowing sufficient pressure to build up in the portafilter and preventing the espresso from flowing through too quickly.
