1.4571 round steel is a non-rusting austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with added molybdenum and stabilized with titanium. This grade offers good corrosion resistance. Due to its titanium content, it also provides good resistance to intergranular corrosion both in the welded condition and during continuous operation up to 400 C. The maximum service temperature is +550 C. The steel has good forgeability and excellent weldability. V4A round steel is well suited for cold forming but is not polishable. It has good processing properties and particularly high stability at elevated temperatures. The steel can be used at low temperatures down to -50 C. Typical applications for 1.4571 round steel include the construction, chemical, shipbuilding, food, piping, and pharmaceutical industries. 4A round steel offers the following properties: good resistance to corrosion, including intergranular corrosion; suitable for use at temperatures up to 550 C; good forgeability and excellent weldability; suitable for cold forming; not polishable; and suitable for low-temperature applications.
