New, optimized design with a large friction surface for more braking power and less brake fade. Reducing rotor vibration during braking also reduces noise. The rounded edges on the top of the rotor minimize the risk of injury and comply with the guidelines of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). As an additional benefit, they facilitate wheel installation because the rounded top prevents tilting in the brake caliper.
