Black/raw square steel S235JR according to DIN EN 10025 / 10058. Material: S235JR (steel). The cut edges are not deburred. Open the packaging carefully and use gloves if necessary. Good welding properties and high tensile strength. Suitable for a wide range of applications. Cutting tolerance: 5 mm. All dimensions are in millimeters (mm). The square steel is black/raw and hot-rolled. The surface contains mill scale from the rolling process and is susceptible to rust in its raw condition. Surface flash rust is therefore not considered a defect. For thickness deviation across the width, DIN EN 10058 specifies a general limit deviation of 0.5 mm for products with a width greater than 150 mm. For widths up to 150 mm, no tolerance for thickness deviation is specified. Width tolerance according to the nominal dimension under DIN EN 10058 (b = nominal width).
