Shoe spikes for enhanced safety on snow and ice, ideal for running, walking, Nordic walking, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Six replaceable spikes made of durable, rust-resistant tungsten carbide provide strong slip resistance and noticeable traction. The ultralight natural rubber construction flexibly adapts to dynamic sports movements. A 3M reflector on the heel tab provides additional visibility. The durable overshoe fits securely and follows the foots natural rolling motion for comfort. Two spikes at the heel and four under the forefoot are strategically positioned to maintain ground contact throughout the foots rolling motion. The 3 mm spikes are designed for icy conditions, freezing moisture, freezing rain, fresh snow, packed snow, crusted snow, and bare ice. Tungsten carbide has twice the density of steel and is exceptionally hard, nearly as hard as diamond. The additional rubber tread on the underside provides grip on wet asphalt. During snow-free sections on asphalt, the peripheral spike arrangement allows secure footing, and the robust spikes can withstand this use. For longer snow- and ice-free stretches, the spikes can be stored in the included bag. The Springyard SportGrip weighs only 98 g per shoe in size XL. A storage bag and German instructions are included. All Springyard Ice Grippers have been tested by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health and have CE certification as personal protective equipment. The Swedish brand Springyard specializes in products for the widely varying temperatures and weather conditions of the Nordic climate.
