These O-rings have a round shape and round cross-section and are designed for use across a wide temperature range from -4F (-20C) to 212F (100C). Nitrile offers good mechanical properties and high wear resistance, along with good resistance to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, mineral oils, and fats. Made of black nitrile rubber with a hardness of 70A, these O-rings are intended for a variety of sealing applications. O-rings generally provide pressure and fluid sealing between cylindrical, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly used in faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders. Nitrile is susceptible to acetone, ether, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering, so it should not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in direct sunlight. Specifications: Outside diameter: 13 mm / 0.51 in; inside diameter: 6.8 mm / 0.27 in; cross-sectional diameter: 3.1 mm / 0.12 in; package contents: 20 O-rings.
