Soudal Parquet Sealant is a high-quality, solvent-free and silicone-free acrylic sealant specially developed for permanently elastic sealing of joints in parquet, laminate, and LVT flooring. It is ideal for floor-to-wall perimeter joints, baseboards, and joints in wooden floors subject to moderate movement. Its plasto-elastic properties reliably accommodate natural material movement while remaining dimensionally stable over time. The sealant is nearly odorless, making it well suited for use in living spaces. After curing, the joint can be sanded, painted, or coated with many commercially available parquet finishes for a harmonious, professional finish without visible transitions. The sealant is easy to apply with a caulking gun and can be conveniently smoothed. Skin formation occurs after approximately 20 minutes; further processing is possible after sufficient drying. It adheres well to common wood, laminate, and porous construction substrates without requiring a primer. With temperature resistance from -20C to +80C and up to 12.5% permissible total movement, Soudal Parquet Sealant is a reliable solution for durable, clean, and visually appealing indoor joints.
