SMART TABS SX BIG ONE! The Smart Tabs SX are designed for boats up to 25 ft (7.6 m) long. The patented SMART TABS provide a unique trim and stabilization system that automatically adapts to changing conditions, without the need for a costly electrical or hydraulic installation with a control switch. SMART TABS use nitrogen-filled cylinders that press the trim tabs downward at low speeds and automatically push them upward into a horizontal position at higher speeds. The trim tabs remain under constant pressure, allowing them to act like shock absorbers and continuously assume the correct position according to the conditions, boat speed, and attitude. This provides a significant improvement in a boat's handling characteristics. Features: The trim tabs and cylinders are made of corrosion-resistant composite material. The trim tabs include stabilization ribs for higher speeds. Plate dimensions are 9.5 x 10 in (241 x 254 mm). Provides smoother and faster acceleration, ideal for water skiing. The bow remains 40% lower and 35% lower while planing, ideal for tubing. Provides higher top speed and eliminates porpoising and chine walking. Improves boat handling and provides a smoother ride in all water conditions. Lower fuel consumption, up to 11%. Assembly and installation take just a few minutes.
