Deep groove ball bearing according to DIN 625. An all-purpose bearing for high radial loads and light axial loads. Also suitable for high rotational speeds. Miniature ball bearings (series 6, MR) are special deep groove ball bearings with small dimensions. They can be used for high radial and moderate axial loads, are suitable for very high rotational speeds, and operate quietly. Single-row bearings (series 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 67, 68, 69, 16) are cost-effective all-purpose bearings with versatile applications. Double-row bearings (series 42, 43) have significantly higher load capacity than single-row bearings, with a slightly greater width. Flanged ball bearings (F) are designed for simplified housing bores in which the bearing is to be axially secured. Bearings with a groove and snap ring (NR) are suitable for positive axial retention of the bearing in a bore. Ball bearings made of bearing steel are cost-effective, withstand high loads, and are suitable for temperatures of approximately -10 to +120 C. Bearing steel is wear-resistant, impact-resistant, electrically conductive, and magnetic. Bearing clearance: Normal clearance (CN) is suitable for operation at normal temperatures and with standard fits. Increased clearance (C3) is recommended when there are high temperature differences between the rings or when the bearing is installed with an interference fit. Seals: Plastic seals (RS/2RS) provide the best sealing performance but involve increased friction. Metal seals (Z/ZZ) are suitable for higher rotational speeds but offer limited sealing performance because they seal without contact. Open, unsealed ball bearings are suitable for very high rotational speeds and are also easier to regrease, but they become contaminated more quickly.
