Product description Looking for a new addition to your crafting activities? The Layered Water Flower is a stunningly elegant floral design to add to your collection. Sizzix Thinlits dies offer more intricate designs with clean, precise cuts than a standard die. Designed specifically for papercrafting, they can add intricate designs to birthday cards, invitations, and more. These wafer-thin dies are intended for cutting, embossing, or stenciling a single sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil, or vellum for a variety of papercrafting projects. They are compatible with a range of Sizzix machines, including the Sizzix Big Shot, Big Shot Plus, Big Shot Foldaway, Big Shot Express, and Big Shot Pro. What does die cutting mean? Die cutting is a quick and easy way to cut shapes repeatedly from paper, foil, cardstock, or even chipboard using a machine and die, rather than cutting by hand. What does my machine cut my material with? A die-cutting machine is always required for die cutting, although the machine itself does not physically cut your material. The tool you select, such as a Sizzix Bigz, Thinlits, or Framelits die, is responsible for cutting the design. The machine simply applies the pressure. If you are unsure whether you can die cut a particular material, check the compatibility of your die rather than your machine. How do I use a Thinlits die? It is easy. Take your Big Shot machine and cutting pads to get started. First, place one cutting pad down and put your Thinlits die on it. Then place your chosen material on the die. Complete your sandwich by placing the second cutting pad on top of the Thinlits die and the selected material. Then run it through your die-cutting machine to reveal your design. Note: An adapter platform is required to use Thinlits with one of our Sizzix Big Shot machines. Simply place it under the sandwich. If you have already purchased one of our Big Shot machines, the adapter platform is included. Note: Framelits can also emboss your paper. Use the Sizzix Embossing Set (662111) to make your wafer-thin die more versatile. If you are unsure, see the "From the Manufacturer" section or visit our website, where we offer instructional videos and inspiration. Are Sizzix dies compatible with machines from other brands? We always recommend using our dies with Sizzix machines for the best results. If you have questions about the compatibility of Sizzix dies with alternative machines, contact the machine manufacturer. Warning: Choking hazard due to small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years.
