The SIMPLEX 3038 series features a TPE-mid/Nylon insert combination. The gray TPE-mid insert (series 3203) provides impact force comparable to that of a black rubber insert without leaving unwanted black abrasion. The Nylon insert (series 3208) offers outstanding impact properties, maximum strength, and high durability. It is made of extruded, extremely homogeneous material, making it significantly more wear-resistant and resilient than molded plastic inserts. It does not chip, even at subzero temperatures, and is resistant to oil and grease. The malleable cast iron housing has an integrated handle protection sleeve for high break resistance. The premium, vibration-damping, ergonomically shaped wooden handle is double-lacquered in the grip area and therefore resistant to dirt. In accordance with the SIMPLEX principle, all components are replaceable and can be retrofitted, helping conserve both money and resources. This version is available in sizes from D30 mm to D80 mm. Suitable for assembling sharp-edged workpieces, housing assembly, plant construction, hall construction, steel construction, trade show construction, and repair and maintenance work.
