Round Bee Escape, 11.5 cm, Galvanized Sheet Metal, 2 Exits

Description

• Round bee escape, 11.5 cm in diameter
• Made of galvanized sheet metal
• With 2 exits
• For installation in a horizontal board

Round bee escape, 11.5 cm in diameter, made of galvanized sheet metal, with 2 exits. The bee escape has the same shape as versions also available in plastic. Its advantage is that the galvanized sheet metal can be disinfected by flame treatment. Flaming also easily removes wax residue and propolis. The bee escape insert is installed in a horizontal board into which two matching holes have been sawn. If the board is installed in the evening before the honey super is removed, all the bees will have moved into the brood chamber by the next day. It is beneficial to create sufficient space for the bees to hang in chains beforehand. The board can also be fitted with an approximately 5 cm high rim facing downward, giving the bees enough room to hang in chains.
