RISON Titanium Grade 5 titanium round bar, solid round material, 500 mm length. Grade 5 titanium is composed of approximately 88.7491.0% titanium, 5.56.75% aluminum, 3.54.5% vanadium and approximately 0.015% hydrogen. It has excellent resistance to salt water, good creep resistance, weldability, formability and ductility, and resistance to cracking and crack propagation. The material offers low density, high mechanical strength and easy processing. It withstands high and low temperatures and can retain its mechanical properties even at extremely low temperatures. Titanium is suitable for humid environments and seawater and is particularly resistant to pitting, erosion and corrosion. Under load, its corrosion resistance is described as superior to that of metallic materials such as stainless steel. Grade 5 titanium has good hot formability and weldability, can be hardened up to a thickness of 25 mm, and is resistant to various corrosive media as well as seawater. It is commonly used in industrial applications and medical technology, including surgical implants, as well as ultrasonic technology, motor technology, aerospace, outdoor and sports equipment such as bicycles and racing vehicles, mountaineering equipment, watches and jewelry.
