It blocks 98% of harmful UV rays and provides a 99% shading rate, helping reduce heat while still allowing some light through for outdoor privacy. The material is water- and dirt-repellent, tear-resistant, mold-resistant, and easy to maintain. Durable, rust-resistant stainless steel rings are fitted at each corner for installation. The sail can be used on patios, lawns, gardens, pool areas, barbecue areas, courtyards, balconies, pergolas, sandboxes, driveways, and more. It is lightweight and compact for transport in its original bag or most backpacks. For best installation, use a 2040 slope. The sail is not 100% waterproof during heavy rain; treatment with waterproofing spray is recommended if it will be exposed to heavy rainfall.
