Rapala's success story began in the 1930s, when Finnish angler Lauri Rapala recognized that large fish particularly target small, injured fish. In 1936, he launched his own brand of lures and fishing accessories, which developed successfully. Today, Rapala products are sold in more than 140 countries worldwide and include lures, tools, clothing, eyewear, bags, and other saltwater and freshwater fishing equipment. Performance, expertise, and quality are the guiding principles of the brand. The Shadow Rap lure is suitable for freshwater fishing. Its highly realistic shape and design attract predatory fish. It underwent extensive tank testing before release. Product features include a reactive and aggressive jerkbait action; a slow, head-down sinking motion when paused that imitates an injured fish; a metallic interior and realistic scale details; translucent sides with holographic inserts; tungsten and steel ballast for balance; and VMC black nickel hooks. This product is made in Estonia and is covered by a one-year warranty from the purchase date against material or manufacturing defects.
