If you are tired of rigid PVC hoses that tear or collapse when bent, try silicone tubing instead. Silicone is UV-resistant and does not age or deteriorate outdoors. The tubing is highly flexible and stretchable, allowing tight turns and installation over barbs that are slightly oversized. Common applications include small water pumps, such as PC water-cooling systems, blocks and pumps, small fountain pumps, solar systems, coffee makers, and other uses. The tubing has a thick wall that accommodates a bend radius and allows a U-turn without collapsing when empty. Even if silicone tubing collapses, it returns to its original shape without creasing because the material is highly stretchable and resistant to damage.
