This solid-carbide drill bit is made from a fine-grain tungsten-cobalt alloy with an average cobalt content of 6%. It has high hardness (HRC92) and is wear-resistant, heat-resistant, resistant to bending and resistant to adhesion. It provides faster cutting times than conventional substrates and is harder, but more brittle. The large, spiral chip flute enables fast and clean chip removal. The sharp cutting edges provide a smooth cut without interruptions. The good milling and cutting performance of carbide enables high work efficiency. Suitable for precise drilling of materials below HRC45, including stainless steel, alloy steel, tool steel, carbon steel, aluminum alloy, plastic and wood. When drilling metals with high hardness, use a lower speed than for normal spot drilling. For use with machining centers, drilling machines, CNC lathes, CNC engraving machines and milling machines. Suitable for various cooling methods, including oil mist, water, oil and air cooling. The appropriate lubricant facilitates cutting or cooling and improves smoothness and dimensional accuracy. Note: Keep the tool cool and use it carefully. The longer the tool length clamped in the chuck, the better. Not recommended for use with hand drills due to possible vibration and poor stability. Proper use significantly extends the service life of these straight-shank twist drills.
