Annular cutter with a 19 mm (3/4 in) Weldon shank. PROJAHN annular cutters made from HSS and HSS-Co steel are manufactured with cutting depths of 30, 35, and 55 mm. The annular cutter is produced using full-grind technology, resulting in an excellent surface finish and optimal chip flow. PROJAHN annular cutters are used with portable magnetic core drilling machines or stationary pillar drill presses. They save time and costs because the annular cutter removes only a ring rather than the entire drilling diameter. Time savings can be up to a factor of 10, partly because extensive preparatory work such as pre-centering, pre-drilling, and enlarging the hole is not required. The lower material load results in a longer service life compared with solid drills. The pilot pin is spring-mounted and ejects the drilled core. Always use coolant and the optimal speed. Suitable for unalloyed steel up to 700 N/mm, alloyed steel up to 1,000 N/mm, and aluminum alloys. Packaging: Quadro Pack without hanger.
