Polyamide round rod, raw material and semi-finished product for machining. Material: Polyamide PA6. Condition: raw; may show storage marks. Raw-sawn length; cut surfaces and edges are unfinished. Applications include bushings, guide rails, rollers and machine feet. Length tolerance: approx. +0.1 to 2 mm. The material offers high impact strength, good bonding properties, high abrasion and wear resistance, good emergency running properties, good chemical resistance, and high strength and rigidity. Water absorption is low, up to 3%. Tensile/breaking stress: 75 MPa according to DIN 53455. Elongation at break: 60% according to DIN 53455. Tensile modulus, dry tensile test: 3000 MPa according to DIN 53457. Thermal linear expansion coefficient: 90 10 1/K. Operating temperature: continuous -40C to max. 90C; short-term 160C. Specific surface resistance: >10 ohms. Density: 1.14 g/cm. Electrical conductivity: 2835 m/(ohmmm). Machinability: good with cooling. Suitable for food contact. Not permanently UV-resistant.
