It is highly resistant to weathering and can therefore be used for a long time in many applications. PLEXIGLAS contains no hazardous ingredients such as heavy metals, hormone-like substances (BPA), formaldehyde, or PCBs, making it safe for health. Even in the event of fire, its components do not produce acutely toxic smoke gases or dense smoke that obstructs visibility. It is therefore a valuable high-performance material used primarily to make high-quality, durable products. PLEXIGLAS is approved as a building material for indoor and outdoor applications. Made in Germanyhighest quality in every detail: Original PLEXIGLAS XT is highly resistant to weathering and aging. It does not yellow: many transparent plastics visibly yellow over time. Transparent PLEXIGLAS does not; even after 30 years, its absolute yellow values remain among the lowest currently possible for plastics.
