Skolan dB is a high-quality plastic pipe system made of mineral-reinforced polypropylene. This material gives the sound-insulating pipe system its extremely sound-dampening properties and makes it suitable for use in residential and commercial construction, including single-family and multifamily homes, industrial buildings, hospitals, and hotels. Skolan dB is a thick-walled sound-insulating pipe system that has been tested to reduce airborne and structure-borne noise. Thick-walled wastewater pipe systems such as Skolan dB have proven themselves in practical use. Skolan dB is installed using standard pipe clamps, achieving sound insulation of 20 dB(A). The Skolan dB was tested by the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics for sound insulation in accordance with DIN EN 14366.
