Blu-Lock fittings provide a fast, durable, and environmentally friendly way to connect flexible polyethylene pipe from an irrigation valve to heads or drip fittings in any zone, without solvents or clamps. Stainless steel teeth grip the pipe securely, while a special O-ring creates a watertight seal. The fitting can still rotate after insertion, allowing the system to be pressurized immediately without waiting for joints to cure. The integrated release for 1/2 in. fittings and optional Blu-Lock removal tool for 3/4 in. and 1 in. fittings make it easy to remove and reuse fittings. The 3/4 in. and 1 in. Blu-Lock fittings are compatible with 100 PSI SIDR 15 and 80 PSI utility HDPE pipe. The 1/2 in. Blu-Lock size is proprietary and can connect to existing 1/2 in. swing pipe systems. Use 1 in. and 3/4 in. Blu-Lock x Spiral Barb fittings for lateral lines to carry water to each zone, and 1/2 in. Blu-Lock fittings to provide a rotatable, adjustable swing-pipe connection at each spray head, sprinkler, or gear-drive rotor. Blu-Lock is designed only for outdoor irrigation with nonconstant pressure at the valve outlet and cold water. Use PVC-Lock for constant-pressure applications at the valve inlet. The maximum recommended operating pressure is 100 PSI.
