Acrylic glass is also suitable for processing and DIY projects, including side tables, nameplates, and desk accessories. It is lightweightapproximately half the weight of glasswhile offering high break resistance, surface hardness, formability, ease of use, weather resistance, UV resistance, good adhesion including with solvent-based adhesives, and durability. The smooth, translucent plastic glass sheet is easy to cut, drill, or mill. It is suitable for making room dividers. Its ultra-transparent appearance provides maximum brightness. This synthetic glass made from extruded acrylic glass (XT) is described as three times stronger than glass. Due to its weather and UV resistance, acrylic glass can be used both indoors and outdoors. Note: The cutting tolerance is approximately 0.5 mm.
