Round mortar and pestle made from 100% natural, 100% handmade olive wood with beautiful, individual grain. Olive trees are released for the timber trade only after they no longer bear fruit, creating a synergy between people and nature. Each product is handcrafted using traditional, high-quality methods and finished with oil. Ideal for crushing herbs and spices, or as a piece of Mediterranean dcor in your home. To preserve the product and the character of the wood, wash the olive wood mortar and pestle gently with lukewarm water and a little dish soap after use, then dry immediately. For best care, regularly rub the mortar with olive oil or cooking oil and wipe dry; this also enhances the beautiful grain. Not dishwasher safe. Please note: Due to the natural material, each product varies slightly in shape, grain, and size.
