• Density: 8.9 g/cm; melting point: 1,440C; electrical resistivity: 0.085 mm/m; thermal conductivity: 69 W/(mK).
• Cut sheet width and length tolerance: 2 mm.

Warning: sharp edges! Sheets are cut with a guillotine shear and the edges are not deburred. Surface scratches cannot be ruled out. Product images are for illustration only; the delivered cut pieces may differ from them. Material 2.4060 is unalloyed pure nickel with a nickel content of 99.6%. The material has good mechanical, electrical, thermal, and magnetostrictive properties. It offers good resistance to many corrosive media, such as pitting and intergranular corrosion. Inconel 200 is also resistant to alkalis and organic acids. The grade can be welded and soldered well. Alloy 200 is used in the food industry for handling fatty acids and fruit juices, as well as in the chemical industry for producing chlorine and hydrogen chloride and for storing and transporting phenol. Other applications of 2.4060 include electronic components, synthetic fiber production, the aerospace industry, battery connections, and lead wires for heating elements.
