This grain mill is designed for milling a variety of dry grains. The carbon steel rollers and stainless steel housing and hopper provide a sturdy, durable construction. It can be operated with the hand crank or a corded electric drill, offering flexible operation for home use. The mill operates without electricity when using the hand crank and is suitable for milling barley, wheat, malt, and other dry grains for home brewing. The large 21.6 21.6 cm hopper opening makes it easy to add grain, and the included aluminum strips allow a bucket to be secured underneath so milled grain can be collected directly in a bucket (not included). Clean the mill after each use with a soft cloth. A base or support must be provided or built to position the mill over a grain container or bucket. The hand-crank milling speed depends on the user. The mill is suitable only for grinding and crushing dry grains; it is not suitable for legumes, moist grains, or flour. Do not use it for corn; it is intended only for grains with a diameter of less than 1.5 mm. Before use, ensure that the hopper does not rub against the internal rollers. If the mill arrives with oil, wipe it with a clean towel, then repeatedly mill malt grains one or two times and wipe the mill clean. When operated at high speed, debris may cause temporary jamming and stopping, which can injure the arm. Contact the seller for installation and operating videos if needed. Slight color variations due to lighting and a 13 cm measurement deviation are possible.
