Milled cast aluminum plate EN AW-5083 with protective film, 6 mm thick and 100 mm wide, cut to your requested length. The plate offers excellent dimensional stability. Its extremely low residual stress helps prevent distortion during and after machining, eliminating the need for preliminary milling, finish machining, and rework. Suitable for reference plates, inspection tools, and fixtures, as well as applications requiring excellent dimensional stability. Technical data: thickness tolerance 0.10 mm; surface finish Ra max. 0.40 microns; flatness for thicknesses up to 15 mm: 0.35 mm/m; flatness for thicknesses from 20 mm: 0.15 mm/m. If the plate is to be powder coated, it must have a hole for hanging in the coating system. This is technically required. You can order holes of your choice using our configurator. If you order a powder-coated plate without holes, we will make a 23 mm diameter hole in one corner. For very large plates, two holes will be made in two corners so the plate can be hung level.
