Easy DIY foil application with a laminator and laser printer. Step 1: Print your designs on plain paper or cardstock using a laser printer. Step 2: Place the toner-reactive foil over the paper with the shiny side facing up. Make sure all of the black toner on the paper is covered. Step 3: Trim the foil so it fits perfectly over the sheet of paper. Step 4: Place a piece of cardstock over the foil to hold the metallic foil in place. Step 5: With the foil between the two sheets of paper, run it through your laminator. You may need to run it through two or three times to ensure the foil reacts properly with the toner. Tip: Make sure your laminator is properly heated before use. Step 6: The foil will adhere to the bottom sheet of paper. Peel it off slowly.
