MESAROS carriage bolts (DIN 603), hex nuts (DIN 439), and large washers (DIN 9021): Product information: Carriage bolts are particularly suitable for wood or metal connections. They can withstand substantial loads and can be installed indoors or outdoors. The bolts have a flat, rounded head with no drive, so they cannot be installed with a screwdriver or wrench. They are secured by inserting the bolt into the drilled hole and tightening a nut on the reverse side. This fixes the square section located directly beneath the head. Hex nuts are often used together with carriage bolts. They are commonly used for bolted connections with limited load capacity, for example as locknuts on rod ends or fork joints. Large DIN 9021 washers belong in every standard range of hardware and are therefore an important component in fastening technology. DIN 9021 washers enable optimal distribution of the load across the connected component.
