MESAROS carriage bolts with square necks and full threads (DIN 603) and hex nuts (DIN 934). The carriage bolts are particularly suitable for wood or metal connections. They can withstand higher loads and can be installed indoors or outdoors. The bolts have a flat, rounded head without a drive, so they cannot be installed with a screwdriver or wrench. To fasten them, insert the bolt through the drilled hole and attach a nut to the reverse side. This fixes the square neck located directly beneath the head. For optimal results, the additional use of washers is recommended; these are also available in our store. Hex nuts are frequently used together with carriage bolts. This hex nut is the standard type of nut available in the hardware sector.
