MEM Insulating Coating is an ideal solution for waterproofing below-grade building components such as concrete surfaces, render, foundations, and fully jointed masonry walls. The bitumen-emulsion-based protective coating is solvent-free and forms a water-repellent, non-brittling protective film against soil moisture. The coating is suitable for outdoor applications and is resistant to substances in soil that are naturally aggressive to concrete. The substrate may be slightly damp and can be coated with a roller, brush, or suitable spray device. Suitable pretreatment is recommended for highly absorbent substrates. Depending on the application, MEM Insulating Coating can be applied in 2 to 3 coats. For more than 45 years, MEM has been one of the leading brands for do-it-yourself, renovation, and restoration products. It all began with restoration products for addressing crisis situations such as damage to drilling rigs and water ingress in structural and civil engineering. MEM was so successful that the company decided to also make its products available to DIY enthusiasts, offering products for sealing, bonding, and maintaining throughout the home. As a steadily growing brand of Bostik, one of the world's leading manufacturers of adhesives and sealants and a company of the Arkema Group, MEM has the expertise to continually develop solutions that help DIY enthusiasts move forward.
