The cuddly-soft yarn cake made from a modal blend. Our modal gradients are plied yarns in which several strands lie next to one another to form the working yarn. The color gradient is created by knotting individual strands from one color to the next. We trim the knots short so they are barely or no longer visible in the finished piece. This also makes the yarn easy to work with, as no ends need to be woven in. Our modal yarn cakes are wound with equal-length sections as standard, allowing them to be worked from both the inside and outside. The modal blend used to wind our yarn cakes is cuddly soft and easy to care for. Our Modal MegaBobbel can also be worked double for thicker jackets, sweaters or blankets. To do this, work with two identical yarn cakes of the same ply, length and outer color. We generally recommend a needle size of 3.55 mm. When the yarn is worked double, the needle size should be adjusted to 610 mm.
