Fully threaded carriage bolt with square neck and serrated flange nut, made of A2 stainless steel. These carriage bolts are suitable for heavy constructions. A matching nut is required. The square neck under the bolt head prevents the bolt from turning while the nut is tightened. Therefore, a matching recess must be made in the workpiece. This is not necessary for wooden workpieces, as the square neck embeds itself into the wood when the nut is tightened. Applications include situations where unauthorized loosening is not desired, such as the outside of locks, wooden doors, privacy screens and fence installation. They are also used in carports, garden sheds, mechanical engineering, scaffolding and trade-show construction, and vehicle construction, such as attaching truck bodies. Specifications: metric coarse thread, fully threaded, property class 50. Available diameters are 5, 6, 8 and 10 mm.
