Hook-and-loop fasteners are classic examples of biomimicry. Nature provided the design for this clever reusable fastening mechanism, showing us how different surfaces can be effortlessly joined, separated, and fastened together again. They are also a model for low wear and resistance to material fatigue. Our loop and hook tapes can be used for various applications and on numerous backing materials. Our 25 mm-wide black textile loop tapes are suitable for high-frequency welding. Thanks to the thermoplastically bondable polyurethane-based film, they can be easily attached to many composite materials.
