The wire is supplied as ring stock (cut to length, without a spool). German-made brand quality. Application: LFLEX HEAT 180 SiF consists of silicone single cores and is intended for use at high ambient temperatures with adequate ventilation and low mechanical stress. At room temperature, LFLEX HEAT 180 SiF is largely resistant to exposure to oils, alcohol, acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and seawater. Typical applications include control cabinet construction, equipment and apparatus construction, the electric motor industry, sauna and solarium construction, heating and heating elements, lighting technology, fan construction, air-conditioning technology, furnace construction, plastics processing, and generator and transformer construction. Construction: Fine-stranded, tinned copper conductors according to IEC 60228 and VDE 0295, Class 5. Core insulation made of silicone compound EI2 according to VDE 0207-363-1. Electrical properties at 20C: Specific insulation resistance greater than 200 Gcm. Rated voltage: 300/500 V. Test voltage: 2,000 V. Mechanical and thermal properties: Minimum bending radius when fixed: 6 times the core diameter. One-time bend at the core end: 3 times the core diameter. Temperature range when fixed: -50C to +180C, provided adequate ventilation; short-term: +200C. Flame retardance according to IEC 60332-1-2. Halogen-free according to IEC 60754-1. Corrosivity according to IEC 60754-2. Tested according to IEC 60811 and EN 50395. General requirements: The wires comply with EU Directive 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage Directive).
