The Leofoto CF-01 lens foot is an improved version of the tripod collar foot for Canon 200-400mm, 300mm f/2.8, 400mm f/4, and 500mm f/4 lenses. The foot is made of strong, durable aluminum and is compatible with Arca-Swiss. With this foot, there is no longer any need to place a quick-release plate beneath the tripod collar. Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, with magnesium and silicon as alloying elements, for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material offers high strength and good toughness, with a yield strength comparable to structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines, making them significantly stronger than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either.
