With KREUL Batik Textile Dyes, crafters can dye textiles using the Shibori technique, dip-dye them, or simply refresh their colors. Ordinary fabrics become unique pieces, and old items can be redesigned with vibrant color. Whether pillowcases, tablecloths, fabric bags, T-shirts, scarves, or bed linens, batik-dyed and colored fabrics are a real eye-catcher when the colors are combined correctly. There are several textile dyeing techniques: Shibori: Patterns are created by tying, folding, and knotting. Rubber bands, cable ties, or parcel string can be used. Wax batik: Liquid wax is applied to the white fabric, which is then dyed. After drying, the wax is ironed out, revealing white patterns. Dip-dye: The fabric is dipped into the dye and left for some time so the color can penetrate, creating an attractive, irregular edge. Batik textiles not only look good; the batik process itself is fun, from dyeing and stirring in the pot to the final surprise of seeing which pattern develops. The dyes are suitable for batik dyeing and coloring silk, cotton, viscose, linen, linen blends, wool, and polyamide. Dyed textiles can be washed separately at a maximum temperature of 40C.
